Terms and Conditions of Sale and Website Use
Last updated · 26 August 2026
These Terms govern access to Cartridge Club and purchases of digital game activation keys, third-party gift card codes, pre-orders and other digital products. They form a binding agreement between the customer and ALDERROCK LTD.
About Cartridge Club
Cartridge Club is operated by ALDERROCK LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 17381132, with its registered office at Dept 6984, 196 High Road, Wood Green, London, N22 8HH, United Kingdom.
Cartridge Club is available at https://cartridge-club.com/ and associated subdomains. Questions about these Terms or an order may be sent to info@cartridge-club.com.
ALDERROCK LTD is the seller and merchant of record for purchases made through Cartridge Club unless the checkout expressly identifies a different seller. No marketplace seller contracts directly with the customer through Cartridge Club.
Definitions
“Account” means a registered Cartridge Club customer account. “Balance” means contractual store credit recorded on an Account and governed by the Balance Terms in this document.
“Digital Product” means a digital game activation key, third-party gift card code, subscription code, downloadable entitlement, pre-order entitlement or other digital item offered by Cartridge Club. No physical product is supplied unless expressly stated.
“Key” means a unique code, link or digital entitlement used to activate or redeem a Digital Product through a third-party platform. “Platform” means Steam, Ubisoft Connect, Epic Games, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo or another service identified on the product page.
“Customer”, “you” and “your” mean the individual purchasing or using Cartridge Club. “We”, “us” and “our” mean ALDERROCK LTD.
Eligibility and age
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to create an Account, fund Balance or place an order.
By using Cartridge Club, you confirm that information supplied by you is accurate, that you are purchasing for lawful personal use, and that you are not located in or ordinarily resident in a Restricted Territory.
We may request reasonable evidence of age, identity, location or authority to use a payment method where necessary for fraud prevention, legal compliance or protection of customers and payment partners.
Accounts and account security
You must provide a valid email address that you control. Keys, confirmations, security notices and support communications may be sent to that address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity carried out through your Account. You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not create multiple Accounts to evade restrictions, obtain promotions more than once, circumvent purchase controls or conceal fraudulent activity.
We may require email verification or additional checks before permitting access to certain features, releasing a Key, accepting a Balance top-up or processing a withdrawal.
Product information and third-party terms
The product page identifies the relevant Platform, region, edition and other material restrictions known to us. You must review that information before ordering.
A Digital Product is licensed, not sold as intellectual property. Its activation and use are also subject to the publisher’s, developer’s, Platform’s or gift card issuer’s terms, licence conditions and account rules.
References to third-party trademarks do not imply affiliation or endorsement. Steam, Epic Games, Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo, Ubisoft and other marks belong to their respective owners.
Product descriptions, artwork and technical information may be provided by publishers or suppliers. We take reasonable care to present material information accurately and will correct confirmed errors.
Orders and contract formation
A product listing is an invitation to place an order and is not a binding offer by us. Your order is an offer to purchase the selected Digital Product on these Terms.
Before submitting an order, you must have an opportunity to review the product, quantity, currency, total price and email address and to correct errors.
An automated acknowledgement that we received an order does not by itself constitute acceptance. A contract is formed when we accept the order and send the order confirmation or begin delivery of the Key, whichever occurs first.
We may decline or cancel an order before delivery where payment is not authorised, information is inaccurate, the product is unavailable, the price is clearly erroneous, supplier restrictions apply, or fraud, sanctions or security concerns arise.
Prices, currencies and taxes
Prices may be displayed and purchases may be made in EUR, GBP or USD. The final currency and total payable are shown before the order is submitted.
At the Effective Date, ALDERROCK LTD is not registered for UK VAT and does not charge UK VAT or issue UK VAT invoices. Any reference on the website to VAT applies only where tax is lawfully charged and expressly shown.
Where taxes, duties or mandatory charges are legally applicable, they will be included in or clearly disclosed with the total price before payment. Your bank or card issuer may separately impose foreign exchange or cross-border fees outside our control.
Prices and promotions may change at any time, but changes do not affect an order already accepted except where the displayed price was an obvious error that a reasonable customer should have recognised.
Payment
We accept Visa and Mastercard and may allow payment using available Balance. Supported methods may vary by country, currency, risk assessment and payment provider availability.
Card payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and authorise the relevant charges.
Payment may be subject to authentication, authorisation and fraud screening. We do not guarantee that a payment provider or card issuer will approve a transaction.
If a payment is reversed, charged back or later found to be unauthorised after a Key has been delivered, we may suspend the Account, reverse associated Balance and seek payment of the lawful outstanding amount.
Balance
You may fund Balance and use available Balance to pay for eligible purchases. Balance is governed by the separate Balance Terms contained in this document.
Balance is maintained in one designated Account currency. A top-up or purchase initiated in another supported currency is converted as shown before confirmation.
Balance is non-transferable, does not expire and earns no interest or bonus. Unused available Balance may be withdrawn by contacting customer support, subject to the verification and processing rules in the Balance Terms.
Immediate digital supply
Keys for in-stock Digital Products are normally supplied electronically to the customer’s email address after successful payment and order approval.
Where applicable law provides a cancellation period for digital content, we will request your prior express consent to begin supply immediately and your acknowledgement that the cancellation right is lost once supply begins.
The consent and acknowledgement relating to immediate supply are separate from acceptance of these Terms and must be presented before the Key is dispatched.
Delivery and activation
Delivery is electronic only. A Key is delivered when it is sent to the email address supplied for the order or otherwise made available through an expressly stated delivery method.
Most approved in-stock orders are delivered promptly, but a transaction may be delayed for payment confirmation, manual review, supplier availability, technical maintenance or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
You are responsible for entering a correct email address, checking spam or filtering folders, safeguarding the Key and following the applicable Platform’s activation instructions.
If a Key is not received, is invalid, has already been redeemed or does not match the accepted order, you must contact support promptly and provide reasonably requested diagnostic information.
Platform, region and compatibility
Before purchasing, you must verify the required Platform, country or region, account country, device, operating system, hardware specifications, language, edition and any subscription requirements stated on the product page.
A region-free description means the Key is intended to be activatable in regions permitted by its publisher or Platform. It does not override Restricted Territories, sanctions rules, Platform account restrictions or local law.
We are not responsible for a customer’s change of mind or selection error after a correctly described Key has been delivered, without limiting rights relating to faulty or misdescribed digital content.
Third-party gift card codes
Gift card codes sold by Cartridge Club are third-party Digital Products issued for the Platform, retailer or service identified on the product page. They are not gift cards issued by Cartridge Club and cannot be redeemed as Cartridge Club Balance unless expressly stated.
Before ordering, you must check the issuer, denomination, currency, region, account eligibility, permitted uses, expiry information and other issuer restrictions.
Once a valid third-party gift card code has been delivered, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled or exchanged because the code has been disclosed, except where mandatory law applies or the code is faulty or misdescribed.
Pre-orders
A pre-order reserves a Digital Product expected to become available later. Release dates, preload dates, early-access periods and bonus content are controlled by publishers and may change.
Payment timing, estimated availability and any special conditions will be shown at checkout or on the product page. Delivery occurs by email when the Key is released to us and the order passes required checks.
Pre-orders are additionally governed by the Pre-order Policy in this document. If there is a conflict on a pre-order issue, the Pre-order Policy prevails.
Refunds and consumer rights
Refunds, cancellations, withdrawal rights and remedies for faulty Digital Products are governed by the Refund, Cancellation and Withdrawal Policy in this document.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory rights relating to digital content that is not of satisfactory quality, fit for a disclosed purpose or as described.
A statement that a delivered Key is non-returnable does not remove rights relating to an invalid, previously redeemed, revoked or misdescribed Key.
Acceptable use
You may use Cartridge Club only for lawful personal purchasing. You must not resell Keys, operate as an undisclosed commercial reseller, scrape inventory or pricing, use automated purchasing tools, interfere with security, or attempt unauthorised access.
You must not use stolen payment details, create false identities, abuse refunds or chargebacks, launder funds through Balance, or use a VPN, proxy or other method to conceal location or bypass territorial restrictions.
You must not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or commercially exploit website content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.
Suspension and termination
We may temporarily restrict an order, Account, Key delivery, Balance top-up or withdrawal where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, unauthorised use, sanctions exposure, security incidents or a material breach of these Terms.
We may close an Account for a serious or repeated breach, fraud, unlawful activity, abusive conduct toward staff, or where continued service would expose us or others to legal or security risk.
Before permanent closure, we will take reasonable steps to address valid outstanding orders and available Balance, subject to lawful deductions, payment reversals, investigations and restrictions imposed by law.
Service availability and changes
We do not promise uninterrupted access to the website. Maintenance, supplier systems, payment networks, cyber incidents and events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
We may change, suspend or discontinue a website feature or product range. This does not remove obligations relating to orders already accepted or mandatory consumer rights.
We may update these Terms for legal, operational, security or service changes. The version accepted for an order continues to govern that order unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
Liability
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence or was contemplated when the contract was formed.
We are not responsible for loss caused by your failure to follow activation instructions, an unsupported device or region, unauthorised disclosure of your credentials, or a third-party Platform failure outside our reasonable control, except where we remain legally responsible.
Digital Products are supplied for personal use. We are not liable for business losses, loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity arising from a consumer purchase.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of mandatory consumer rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms and contracts made through Cartridge Club are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the country where you ordinarily reside.
If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms requires you to give up a mandatory right to use your local courts.
Please contact info@cartridge-club.com first so that we can try to resolve a complaint. Provide the order number, Account email, a clear description of the issue and relevant evidence.
General terms
If a provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it will be applied to the greatest lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your contract, Account or Balance to another person. We may transfer our rights and obligations only where this does not reduce your protections.
These Terms, the policies expressly incorporated into them, the product page and the order confirmation form the contract for the relevant purchase.
